The Nook

We decided the least scary room in the house...Elana's bedroom. Although KaBOOM! and lots of soap and water were necessary, we eventually scraped the room of its original layer of grime.

Our first focus was "The Nook," a 75x54 in area that was the perfect size for her bed! A 50 lb. Ikea desk was the only thing that stood in the way of our journey to victory.

While Elana's mom distracted our landlord, Chad, the girls took to disassembling (aka destroying) and removing the desk with just a 3-inch pink pocket screwdriver. #donttellchad #sowwwwwwyyyyyyy

The next task was moving one of the 3 heavily stained queen mattresses out of the room. We decided to assign it to an empty bedroom downstairs. Sorry, Christina...we'll help you move it...maybe.
